As rough explanation,

MOTTAI-NAI: keep everything around you. waist nothing. respect the all efforts to create the things around you.

DAN-SHA-RI: Throw away all things you don't use. Keep the things you are using not the things which can be useful.

KON-MARI concept: Throw away things which does not excite (or "spark joy") you.

As for me, I am still captured by "MOTTAI-NAI" and can not accept "DAN-SHA-RI". KON-MARI? hmm, she is not so bad.
