Well.
1) there's usually a situation behind these matters: well, what i can dig out is she is jealous of you. And she doesnt have very high self confidence right now. You can either be there and TALK. like invite her out places and stuff. or leave her to it. School is a time to build yourself up and right now, she's learning. And from what i've learnt: you pick yourself back up.

2) people change, you can't do anything about it.
