I am same, cept I am going to China. 1 year will teach you Japanese, if you try hard. But it depends what you want to study. Some easier topics will be fine, but if you are learning really technical things, you will struggle with a Japanese teacher unless you fully understand the language.
I am going to study Wushu in China, they will teach me language as I learn they say. But I have all the money I need before I go. You will struggle to find a work visa in Japan unless you are highly skilled, I reckon you will get a student one easy, but then you are going to require some money... Think it through wont you.
Even if it seems certain that you will lose, retaliate. Neither wisdom nor technique has a place in this. A real man does not think of victory or defeat. He plunges recklessly towards an irrational death. By doing this, you will awaken from your dreams.
