There is nothing wrong with what the Japanese did. America was going to invade Japan anyway, just as with Germany, their tactic was simple. Wait until the war is half through, when Germany and Japan were entrenched in fighting and running low on supplies and moral, then a fresh force comes into the battle, of course they are going to win. Its like, take a pro boxer and put him in the ring for 10 rounds with another pro boxer, they will be exhausted, now get and ametuer boxer who is fresh in energy and replace him with one of the pros, even though he lacks in skill as the pro, being fresh, he is still going to smash the fuck out of the pro. US cowardly waited for Germany to slaughter half of its allies, then it went in and smashed them. They were planning the same thing with Japan. Japan knew that they would attack soon, with the massive build up of military ships in the west oceans of America, obviously not their for Germany. Japan had a gun pointed at its face, I dont like people who refuse to recognize this and glorify the US for their cowardly actions in the 40's.

Being nice does not overcome arrogance, it often makes it worse. Nice people who are being arrogant have even more trouble of understanding what they are doing wrong coz they think they are being nice, so they cant see it. Its like walking down the streets of Tehran and giving away free t-shirts and shorts to all the woman. You might think geez this weather is hot, these people will appreciate this nice gesture... But it is not exactley what they want over there. That is a bad example, but you get the point. Arrogance and being obnoxious is part of American life...
