I'll comment on the bold part first - its because otherwise we'd just have nice animations of mecha fighting each other. Without sound, that would just be boring. A bit like Tenjou Tenge without the lasses
. Just wouldn't be the same.
I've watched every episode of G-Gundam, Seed, Seed Destiny and so far of G-00. Only half way through Wing though, but then I'm not too sure about it.
And the juries still out on this one. Although the story is looking good, all the characters have their flaws and the mecha (all of them, not just the Gundams) themselves are also awesome. Just waiting to see what's going to happen - especially as their are so many people out to get the Gundams.
