Yeap.
Angles and editing are a big thing, pretty in a photo doesn't always mean pretty in real life. For Example;
Usually many models who take awesome pics have something strange about them in real life, You see certain details make a person more/less attractive.
Eye spacing is really important- eyes that are further apart photograph better than those which are closer together etc. which is why many people tend to edit their fotos to make their eyes bigger and further apart... seriously it's what they do on models for high fashion makeup campaigns.
I shoud know, majority of my family model/ or were high fashion models for most of their lives.
You can't judge a gorgeous girl by a photograph alone, because usually what you see is not what you're getting.
