You mis understand what you have seen. People are making up bullshit to make these stupid theories fit. The Americans use the same salute whilst reciteing the pleadge of alliengence as they always have. It is with the arm placed on the forehead, and then gracefully extended outwards WITH PALM FACEING UPWARDWS TOWARD THE FLAG. The same as you swear oath in a US courtroom and stuff.

You see, all salutes are old like this. They are used many times from many people.

You know, the salute you see all armies use today with the hand put to the hat on the head. It was used bu Knights who wore visors, they would raise their visors to their opponent before jousting so there was no confusion as to who they were fighting.

Now the tradition lives on. I suppose you are going to tell me N Korea, Iran, Syria, they are all allied to the US because their military salute is similar?
