I would take the latter. But then, both times, then and with now, I fell for my best friend.

And currently, aside from the romanticism, me and my boyfriend still act like how we were as best friends.
It's just now the rest of the affections we feel for each other are more open, but there is still lots of teasing and play-fighting like as friends. (I used to pick on him and wrestle him, he has scars from me xDDD)

But I know I could happily live my life with him as something more...
...iunno if I made sense...
but I chose, i guess, a mix of both after all.
