[Enormity]

Hello to everyone who reads this post!!!

I am trying to learn Japanese on my own, and I am finding it very difficult. Currently, I am learning the Hiragana characters and sounds. I would really like it if there were someone I could write to, who would also write to me in the Japanese language, so that I would not only be memorizing the characters and words, but using them as well.

If there is anyone out there who would be willing to help me, I would appreciate it very much. I do not want to be "That American" who goes to Japan and asks, "Do you speak English?" because they are too lazy and rude to learn another countries language.
