私が言いたかったのは、読むものを２種類用意するとい うことです。小説でなくてもかまいません。
ひとつが自分があまり辞書を使わずに読めるもの。もう ひとつが自分にとって難しいものです。難しいものは辞 書を使いながらゆっくり読みます。このふたつを交互に 読むのです。そうすると飽きずに読めると思います。
～でなくてもかまわない = it doesn't have to be ~. 交互に = alternately

洋書店で英語による心理学と社会学の入門書を購入し読 みました。メチャメチャ難しかったです！
洋書(ようしょ) = foreign books. 心理学（しんりがく） = Psychology. 社会学（しゃかいがく）= Sociology. 購入（こうにゅう）= purchase. 購入する= a bigger word for 買う

「落書き」程度のものであっても取りあえずは文面にし ていました。
I meant to say "Even when it was something that could only be called scribbling, I used to write it on paper anyway."
取りあえず = anyway ( an incredibly useful word!)
文面にする ＝ to write on paper (as oppose to just thinking in head)

大胆な言葉 = bold, fearless words
太字の言葉 = words in
bold 太字＝ふとじ
声に出してです = I did so out loud. I talked about 'talking to myself in English' immediately prior to saying 声に出してです. Since this was only an additional explanation, it came out in a less-than-a-perfect-sentence form. 声に出す = to say something out loud.
