I know only few rock groups. The best of them( and the symbol o j-rock) is X-JAPAN, I think. And Laruku. Fine band, I like them. If you don't know Go!Go!7188 you can taste this band.

But I don't know enough metal bands to say more about it. Only Sigh(black metal).
