It's not about being a "good" marine; have you ever heard of empathy? You can't just watch someone die and act like nothing happened! Being unable to kill doesn't make you a bad soldier, it makes you a human.

And what sort of person chooses pain over comfort? I think it's not much of a personal choice as much as it is a matter of necessity, whatever that may be.



Well, are YOU?? Just because you're a heartless killing robot who's unable to stay faithful to the mother of his child, doesn't mean that's how it works with everyone else. It's sad enough that some people have to kill for a living, at least let them take the credit for carrying out such an awful act.

So the US sells weapons of mass destruction to Iraq and decide the time has come for the Iraqi people to give them back because oh, they're worried they might be used the wrong way? Should have thought about that one before making such risky deals.

And anyway, why does a whole country need to be bombed? Is it gonna help you find what you're after? Have you been told that they'd be given back to you after taking the lives of 100.000 civilians? If so, good job man, 10.000 more to go and they're fucking yours.

Now SUki are we talking about soldiers in general or ME in general? cause I'm talking about all soldeirs, soldiers I train. There is no compassion in war and that is the difference between Life and your Movies. I think you need to calm down and reread what I have posted in the past cause it seems you have gotten every word mixed up in your head. Some people have already killed things such as animals and cleaned them out to eat and there are those who sit down at a computer and preach about what they think is right and wrong by what they are taught is right and wrong. WHo will survive? those who have bathed in blood or those who only think they have. The answer is obvious.
The military weaves those who are weak out or it changes them for better or worse.
When talking about things like this suki don't take things too personal because it is not about you and me, its about the people around us. If you are not thinking clearly then wait awhile and then type.
