People's perceptions are different. I would personally say Gackt is J-Pop, although I've not heard Malice Mizer. Does anyone think Gackt looks like a Japanese Meg Ryan? Maybe a bit like Tidus from Final Fantasy 10 as well? Actually, now I take another look, Gackt looks exactly like Tidus from FFX.
