Is Oriental an offensive term to Asians or Japanese people???

and can you interpretate this Phrase as: Asian Pride or Eastern Self Respect?

thanks.

p.s. Are you Japanese? Just curious...lol...

Politically incorrect where? The term "Oriental Pride" is in English and I don't live in an English-speaking country. So it's difficult for me to say if it's politically correct or incorrect.

That kanji phrase can be translated in a few other ways besides "Oriental Pride".

東方 = Oriental, Asian, Eastern

自尊 = Pride, Self-Respect

Maybe you could find the combo that seems best to you.

If you prefer to just mention Japan without saying anything about another country, there's this often-used term:

大和魂 Yamato-Damashii = Japanese spirit

Finally, yes I am Japanese.
