I went to Comic-Con in 2004, and back then it wasn't so popular. This last time around I actually happened to live a couple blocks away from the Convention Center and thought I could just waltz in again, NOPE!!! That thing has gone nuts! It's so much more than a Comic-Con now, more like a complete media Convention, movies, TV, everything. I couldn't even get a ticket. I have friends who conditionally will only return to California for Comic-Con. But I'm too poor now. I won't be going any time soon.
