The thing is that both sentences are correct but neither says what you want to say. What you want to say would be something like:

ウェブサイトに載(の)せるための記事を書きました。  載せる = to publish (an article) in (newspaper, magazine, website, etc.)

Your first sentence means "I wrote articles on the website for someone." Verb + あげる = to do something for someone.

Your second sentence means "I wrote aticles about the website."
