I found that you go through ups and downs. Sometimes life is good and you are loving it there. Other times you have some problems and life and the country are getting you down and you just want to go home. Everyone has their own cycles and breaking point. Personally, I'm glad I stayed 2 years, but also glad I didn't stay 3. I knew others that couldn't wait to come home after 1 year (or before), and some that didn't want to leave after 3, 4, or more years.
