Anyways, I've lived in Japan for only a year and I already feel like "I don't want to live in Japan". Perhaps I had such high expectation before I was there and that led me to disappointment when I was actually there... I found that you go through ups and downs. Sometimes life is good and you are loving it there. Other times you have some problems and life and the country are getting you down and you just want to go home. Everyone has their own cycles and breaking point. Personally, I'm glad I stayed 2 years, but also glad I didn't stay 3. I knew others that couldn't wait to come home after 1 year (or before), and some that didn't want to leave after 3, 4, or more years.
