Places that inspired Hayao Miyazaki - 06-02-2010, 05:49 PM

Hello everybody,

I thought it would be cool to take a trip in the future, to the locations which inspired Hayao Miyazaki for some of the scenery in his movies.
I've found a couple places already, but if anyone has info on some of the other locations, I'd be happy to know of it, if you wouldn't mind sharing!

I hope nothing changes too much from its current condition seeing as if I am able to make this journey, it probably won't be for quite some time-and it will require quite a bit of cash, I'm sure.

If anyone else is interested in visiting some of these places, here's the list I've made so far...

Ghibli Museum:

Dougo Onsen

The Hot Springs That inspired "Spirited Away"
