I think it's different; noun+number is often a good combination. I'd maybe pick up the book to check out the blurb, but it might also depend on the cover art, and which section it's sat in. I don't love it. It doesn't make me go 'ooh, what's that about', but that's mostly because-

'Vanilla' as a word in general applied to anything other than ice-cream or orchid pods screams several things at me; fluffy chick-lit, Trying Too Hard to Be Ironic and soft-core pornography. Generally not what I, personally, am looking for in a novel. I'd expect a mushy romance story. teen romance probably. or yeah, consensus from this end is 'sounds like porn' actually, with the 17 tag on it, sounds like 'barely-legal porn'. Or a 1980's puffed up glam rocker. It kind of sounds cheap, if you get my drift. Anything with 'vanilla' on the cover in my experience is usually paperback, gritty with the ghosts of old holidays, and winds up in a charity shop.
