Researching the age of concent in Japan I am really struggling to find solid information. Just lots and lots of sites with the same litle factoid- 13 nationally but with different prefectures setting different ages up to 18 (18? Damn thats crazily high...).
I wonder- does anyone have any access to the information on exactly what these different ages are in the different prefectures?
Considering still on the front page is a thread I made about the Japanese legal system people might get the wrong idea here....so let me just say this is purely out of interest.I don't at all plan to test these laws.
I'm wondering if there's any pattern to different ages- mroe conservative prefectures vs more progressive ones? Or just a random scatter gun effect?
