Writing (not drawing) American Manga - 02-10-2008, 03:39 AM

I am currently 13 years old and working on my first novel. Once I am done with that I would like to write American manga. I can't draw, but I can write really well. I would be able to come up with a story concept, plot, setting, and characterization in addition to writing out the story for at least a while (or making an outline of the story, depending on artist preferences). When I am 15 or 16 do you think I will be able to find an artist that would be willing to work with me? By that time I will hopefully be a published author. Thanks

Yeah, you could because the author of Death Note doesn't do his own drawings, Takeshi Obata does. I don't think you would have trouble finding an artist if you're writing is good.
Good luck and I hope to read something of yours soon.
