Death Note or Blood+

Mwuuuaah! Death Note kicks ass!! L and Kira are the best, most romantic gays I've ever seen in any anime!! It's a pity that Kira went mad and killed L - a person he ever liked, his best and only friend, his lover(hey, what did you expect them to do while binded with handcuffs^^).
I ADORE this anime, although I've never seen Blood+ I don't think it'd impress me as much as Death Note did.

That's a hard decision...Blood+ is really awesome and you've gotta pay attention...but deathnote a lot of things are handed to you. I don't know...

hmmm...well i'd probably have to go with death note. i mean don't get me wrong i like both series, but death note is more thrilling. You don't really know what to expect. There's always some kind of plot twist to keep you begging for more.Where as with blood+, there's was only one real goal and that was to kill diva. Not that exciting.

They are both completed series coming out now in English in anime, manga and novels.

Both are complete stories (not like Bleach or Naruto, which has no ending).

Both are about high schoolers suddenly given the power to kill, and how they deal with that power.

Both are bloody, with lots of death, including the deaths of major and beloved characters.

Sure there are lots of differences, but I thought there was enough similarities and that they probably attract similar audiences that it would be worth comparing.

that is true but the only one i see that is wrong is number 2.
Saya wasnt given to power to kill. She was born with them.
