Gundam Wing - 04-24-2008, 06:07 PM

So I gave it another chance and decided to watch it in the original Japanese.
First time around I wasn't so impressed but this time i've understood the feelings of the characters and the story much more.
I can really say that its a good Anime to me, though a little too deep for younger people.
What do you think?

I used to love it..
And then suddenly fucking every person I knew that liked anime was into yaoi fantasy's between all the characters.
They ruined it for me :/

I haven't seen it unfortunatly. What is the genre of it? I've heard a bit about it, but never took it upon myself to watch it.

God I hate Yaoi.. *twitches* Especially when it's got some of my favourite characters involved in some sick twisted freaks imagination

Its a Mecha Anime.. sci-fi sort of but mostly philosophy about war and how it effects people.
Its a pretty deep story and would take someone with good concentration to keep up with it. (i.e. not a kids Anime in my opinion.)

I did the same as you, and Gundam Wing is now one of my all-time favorite series not just for the music, but for other aspects I didn't get when I watched the first time years ago.
