Fanservice or no fanservice?

Some people think uneccesary fanservice ruins an anime. I think it's ok as long as there isn't too much of it. What do you think?

I think fan-service is just something they usually used to fill some time, because it's unnecessary, but it doesn't ruin the show.

I like it and it was a Gainax creation. It first appears on Gunbuster, and you can see this on EVA too.
