I prefer Shonen myself, for stuff like Bleach, Death Note and One Piece :D

CrimsonNataku 01-24-2007 03:22 AM

Both and neither, it depends on my mood at the time. My collection is very diverse; I like a little of everything and am not really partial to one genre over the other.

thts y i asked in the first place....
XD
i like both but for some reason, i only have shojo anime and manga... say, havu u read genbu kaiden? lol its so kool and funny
[i spell cool, kool on purpose...]
i got used to it wen i kept saying tht the 'k' in 'kyo' means kawaii and kool
^_~
actually i kno y i only have shojo... seeing tht ppl make a full collection wen a series ends, i try to wait and get those types of collections... 'try...' some of them, i just couldnt wait!!!

I like Shojo mostly. It should be noted that Love Hina is a shonen, as it is geared towards boys.

AnimeFreak 01-24-2007 05:01 AM

yea... i thought bout tht too... but then agen... its pretty girly considering it doesnt have those types of bloodiness like naruto or bleach...
since ther r more girls, u have to understand how the girls' feel towards keitaro... thts his name right?
lol
id ont kno if im right.... iv only heard of bishonen... doesnt tht mean beautiful boys?
im making this one up... bishojo... if this word even existed, does it mean beautiful girls?
lol
it is said tht love hina is like negima so i figure they wer both shojo even though the main character is a guy...
idk... an expert shud figure this one out...
i just seperate shojo and shonen from their bloodiness...

LadyShinigami 01-24-2007 07:12 AM

I like both but my first love was Shojo coz of fushigi yuugi :)

Tangent 01-24-2007 10:39 AM

The shonen storylines are more to my particular taste as they tend to be less cliched and generally less superficial...but at the same time I am actually more likely to buy a shojo because the artwork is just so much more beautiful and rounded and idealistic and I kind of like that. My love for this style was also founded through reading Fushigi Yugi. :p

I like both.

Which is Angel Sanctuary considered? I love that manga, but I've only seen Vol. 1 and 2

SamuraiAlchemistNinja 01-24-2007 04:40 PM

I like both, actually!:D
