Top of my list is Ono Fuyumi's great unfinished epic "The Twelve Kingdoms (十二国記)". Only 45 of the 68 planned episodes were produced, and covers four of the nine novels. Don't let this stop you from seeing it.

Others on my favored list:
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (涼宮ハルヒの憂鬱)
Rocket Girls (ロケットガール)
Tsukihime, Lunar Legend (真月譚 月姫)
Chobits (ちょびっツ)
Steamboy (スチームボーイ)
Spirited Away (千と千尋の神隠し)

Last but not least the great lord of the playground:
Crayon Shin-chan (クレヨンしんちゃん)

Must Watch Anime - 02-25-2008, 07:26 PM
Ummm....I think one on my must watch list would be Escaflowne. I've seen the movie, and I've seen the first few episodes. Hellsing would definitely be on there *is Hellsing Ultimate any good? Has anyone seen it yet?*, along with Cowboy BeBop. Rurouni Kenshin in another, and it may sound childish and stupid, but Hamtaro for out and out cuteness. Gundam Wing, too. I haven't seen all of Samurai Champloo yet, but I think it's worthy of the list.

And I have a question. I've started watching a few that I haven't heard of *one of the people my sister works with knows more anime than I do, and he gives me lists*, several include Genshiken, Moyashimon, and Ouran High School Host Club. I've read some Genshiken manga, and I've seen a few episodes of Moyashimon, but what is Ouran High School Host Club about?
