What is your opinion about it?

My opinion about it is, other than mostly being a gore fest, its really good.

There is a previous thread about this, but anyway. It's my favorite anime so far! The girls are so cute, I WANT TO TAKE THEM HOME!

I think the gore is part of what makes Higurashi so great. I actually wish there was more of it (because I'm weird like that)! It's one of my favorite animes :D

Higurashi is really nice^^ the first season has 23 ep? and the second one is named "Higurashi no naku koro ni kai" for those who don´t know yet^^ but the best are the frist ep they are horror like no other XD

lol, i agree too, I'm just one of those people who loves that kind of stuff :) if you know of other anime like that I'd love to know about them :)

Its kind of hard to find, but you can try sumomomo momomo. Its not bloody in the least, but it does have the good old fashioned adult humor.
You can also try Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan(Club to death angel Dokuro-chan). It makes gore funny. Ive never laughed so hard at an anime before Dokuro-chan.

I have a bunch of the episodes , I just have not got around to watching it yet. I am trying to get caught up on Tales from the Abyss first. Anyways, seems like a popular series right now and quite a few fansub groups picked it up. I think a few might have dropped it already but WinD and Shinsen are still subbing it.
