oh my gosh I adore Ouran High Host Club! It's so incredibly funny and gets better and better as the series goes on! It's one of those rare series that you don't want to see end because you come to love the characters and the series so much Did you try reading S.A. (Special A) yet or Skip Beat or Honey & Clover? All 3 are *fantastic*

I didn't like the art for Skip Beat or Honey and Clover so I never really read it, but I did read Special A. At first, I thought it was just too much like Ouran High School Host Club, but as I continued reading it I was like, "Yeah. Okay. That's cool." I definitely am starting to like S.A. a lot. The manga is good but I think Maki Minami is dragging on the story too long. The anime was iffy. Special A is definitely something for those Ouran High School fans.

I absolutely love Ouran. Very cute and very refreshing. After finishing Azumanga Daioh I needed something ditzy to watch so I watched Ouran. I got into it so fast. I love the characters and whole story. Personally, I like the anime better than the manga. No offense to Hatori but the way she did the art for the manga was not too good. It looked better in the anime.

Well, if you can give them a try again I think you'll be in for a treat If you hate both series after the 1st volumes I'll pay you $10! I read Skip Beat on the subway quite frequently and would be *cracking up* hysterically (it is SUCH a funny manga) and people would be looking at me like *I* was sooooo strange but I didn't care - Skip Beat is one of the best, funniest manga I've read in ages I was bothered by the art in Honey & Clover as well at first and didn't read it until giving it a chance in ShoujoBeat - once I did I was surprised by how good the storyline was and I got hooked! Now I bought the 1st 3 books and am reading it from the beginning and am glad I did - it's totally worth it.
