Need a little help!

I was wondering if there was like a program or something that can teach me how to make Anime and Manga pics in like MS Paint or just a program that will let me create that stuff. I am still learning how to draw the stuff on paper. It is so hard to get every proportion so close to perfect that the difference can't be seen. I guess proportion and keeping my hand steady are the things i struggle with most. I will learn though. I gotta be able to do it if i keep trying. All help is Appreciated!

YouTube - Anime girl on MS paint

that should prove MS Paint can be used to make anime.

lol.

get good with on paper first, then all you have to do is scan and trace to get it into the pc.

there are some basic things you need to learn that have nothing to do with ms paint, things like proportion, perspective, composition, etc. once you nail those things, stepping up to a wacom tablet in photoshop would be a breeze.

if you have problems with keeping your hand steady now it will be worse with a mouse of lightpen.

(man i sound like an old fart.)

It's a link, smart guy. You know, the thing you click and it takes you somewhere? Yeah.

Also, drawing anime style characters is great and all, but until you practice and get adept at drawing from life, they're always gonna look a little weird and you'll be limited in what you can draw. So I would recommend doing some life drawing first; it'll help your understanding of anatomy (and therfore how to distort it to fit the anime/manga style), and it'll help your muscle memory and your body to feel more comfortable holding a pen or pencil, hence improving your steadiness.

Hop to it! Go draw some naked people.
