CP9 are not pirates. They are goverment hired, but not pirates. Rob Lucci was a govt assasin. Shichibukai is the closest that you can call as hired pirates or basically called as the "goverment dogs"

The ones who have millions upon millions of bounties over their heads but are working for the world government. I can't really remember their names either, but I think one of them is Zoro's mortal foe. The one with the sword and robin hood-like hat.

Hired Pirates = "Shichibukai"

@Cool-kun, yup the Shichibukai are the hired pirates by the govt, with big bounty on their head

What has this gotta do with me being far behind?? Or are you assuming again? O.o I just like remembering stuff ^_^ I'm at the part where Luffy's done fighting the leader of the CP9... Wow, his raw determination and courage is the real deal.... Was pretty touched when I saw him stand up even after he received a tremendous amount of damage from one of Lucci's strongest techniques up close >_<
