I freaking loved that store, got all kinds of stuff from there.
Including my first ever Japanese book.

Really sucks that they're closed. Does anyone know of any alternatives?
Amazon.co.jp is great, except for their 5000円 shipping charge to Canada and the States.

I can't remember the shipping costs compared to Amazon but if I remember correctly it was cheaper.
Although that may depend on country.

Come to think of it I think I may have used 船便, which is obviously going to be really cheap, but takes between 1 - 3 months to get to you.

I suppose it all depends on how patient you are.

Just found www.abookhouse.com selling Japanese books too, great selections with competitive prices, $3.95 flat rate shipping per order within US vs. $3.99 shipping per book at Amazon. Their website is in English. For people like me learning Japanese as a 2nd language, it is very useful.
