- Elfen Lied
- Kimi ga Nozomu Eien (Rumbling Hearts)
- Clannad
- School Days
- Kara no Kyoukai - The Garden of Sinners
- Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (+kai)
- Kanon 2006

- Ef: A Tail of Memories

Too many people spend money they haven't earned, to buy things they don't want, to impress people they don't like.

Yay we have a match XD

I really want to see Higurashi no Naku Koro ni because it was recommended as being similar to EL on a website

Yep as I said above, I really want to see that one next, it looks good

I love ELM from that sound track ...

Yeah Seven Samurai was pretty epic but a little dated, a new version would be cool if done properly.
The anime is so good though, one of few I can watch more than once.
I'm a bit of a sceptic when it comes to remakes. :/
I've seen too many attempts that have gone horribly wrong. And if Hollywood gets an interest in remaking a Japanese film, its basically the final nail in the coffin...

But of course if it was kept Japanese, a remake could work simply because we'd have colour and an acting style people are more comfortable with.

I guess you could even consider the anime as a remake, even though it's not in film form, and it's a darn good one at that!

I don't consider it a remake, more like... a loosely affiliated piece of work.
