the eyes and hair?

why the heck are there so many characters that have, no offense, european features to their body. Naurto's main character is a blue eyed blonde haired guy (what the hell, never saw that in japan 2000 yrs. ago). they have the humongous eyes (compared to the asian scheme of things, they don't have that feature, unless they're mixed) I don't get it. Tsubasa has the same thing, what the heck, the chick named sakura has freakishly light color (and an albino japanese person has green eyes and shiroikami)...MAN COME ON!!! I look at these things and they have the culture of japan and have the manerisms but the people and the faces don't match it...i mean if your gonna have a history manga then why the HELL does the main character have eyes that are like blue-ish and then have FREAKISH red hair, not that brownish red hair not like RADIACTIVE RED HAIR? " LOOK DEEP INTO MY FACE, I SELL DECIET. WITHOUT A TRAAACE!!!!"

well, lets see, anime is being made not only for asians, but for audiance worldwide, and so i thnk having european features, or scenes from the wild west is done to help all relate to the anime!

Im sorry, but I gotta disagree. Anime is made in Japan, for a Japanese audience, they dont even take the rest of the world into consideration when making this stuff.

Do you think Hollywood considers what global audiences want to see, just because Hollywood movies are extremley popular world wide? The answer is: No.

Well yeah of course they do! They need to know what people out there want to see, cause it's them (us) who will determine wheteher it's worth it or not! All they care about is getting successful results, and that is up to the audience.

And if anime is only supposed to be watched in Japan, why do the characters not look Japanese?
