It was a great .hack title but I still liked .Hack// Sign better I have all 3 vol of twilight and the boxset of sign. By the was does anyone know when roots will have a box set

i think in early jan. because the show still airs in some places. i haven't seen .hack//ROOTS....just .hack//SIGN...and i, also, have the box set.

I liked this because it was the only manga I could find of the .hack series >-> I'm such a Balmung fangirl, the two ditties in the back of the third volume made me so happy, but they had nothing to do with the actual story.

For protagonists? Kite, Haseo, or even Tsukasa would have Shugo's ass on a platter. Sorry, but I had to convince myself that he was secretly Kite; he bugged me >< But I didn't find Rena as bad.

But that's just me ^^

just a bit tho, the whole death thing and that one chick and bug eyed aura...wierd.

I think it was ok, it wasn't trying too hard but I like the original .Hack//sign a lot more.
