Who wants to learn Esperanto - 11-24-2008, 10:43 PM

Hi everyone
I would like to know who speaks Esperanto, or who wants to learn this beautiful language...
I hope I can become a "esperantista" as soon as possible...
So if anyone would like to join me to do some studies in esperanto just tell me, I would be very happy

Esperanto is the world's language, its a very easy language...And it was made with the purpose of making people to understand each others better

Isn't Esperanto basically a failed experiment?

I wouldn't say failed, there are quite a lot of people who can speak esperanto, and I think it is a good idea, because esperanto is much more easy than english...

Wow, I never knew about such a language until I read this topic and looked it up. Cool! It´s something like fantasy- and scifi-languages, there are actually people who speak it. Well, for this language there are more speakers. But sounds cool. I myself can speak sindarin a little, the elven language Tolkien made. And quenya, too (it´s based on finnish, so it´s easy ).

Oh I didn't knew about sindarin...
But I think that Esperanto was a great idea of language...shame that so many people think that it has failed and that the english is the best thing, bla bla bla...

Well, english came first from the two of them, after all. But it is nice too that not everyone can speak it: that makes it so cool (in my opinion).
