Question Translation. Please. - 08-10-2008, 02:51 PM

Greetings.

Some time ago i recievd a gift in form a of a calligraphy (see the attached image).
I have some trouble translating it to plain english, allthough i greatly appriciated the gift.
If anyone could tell me what it says (and if it is japanese or chinese for that matter).

Thanks in advance.

sincerely

In my oppinion, "good health" is OK

人面桃花相映红,色不迷人人自迷。
千年之前妳相遇却没有相,千年之后我相爱却无法相遇。

It basically means "Live long happy and healthy."

It's 100% in Chinese. 0% in Japanese.
