I'm sorry of I shouldn't be posting this here, but the sticky I would normally put it in is gone :S

"La conférence des maires des États-Unis vient donc de voter une résolution appelant les municipalités à abandonner progressivement l'eau en bouteille."

Can someone translate that for me please?

...would be my guess.

The mayors of the United States had a conference vote to ask towns to get rid of bottled water.

i think that's right... although it was a bit hard to translate? XD
