bind the asian language and create a new one. - 02-28-2007, 05:14 PM

i've always wanted, well dreamed of, being the first guy to invent a new language. i was dreaming of creating an ESPERANTO type of language, where you bind language from all over asia, for trading purposes. i mean, english should not be the only language we speak, but rather as respect to traders who don't speak english that well, there'll be an option to use, using the similarities in asian language, since most of these language are neighboring and roots out from area connecting each other.

but i'm not that great.

so instead, i want to make an online dictionary of badwords or street language, to street survival depending on what nation. i mean, a culture is a culture, and it all has it's different useage and disfunction, might as well record that, and avoid the stupid idea that it would hurt, but rather provide informative source of what it means. roots can be defined, but let's stay with meaning. right?

how many of you had been to philippines and someone said to you, putang ina. wouldn't you want to know what that means?

just be informative.

i understand your theory, but in reality I dont think that making a new 'super language' would cut down on language difficulties, probably make things more difficult.
Your other idea sounds good, 'world dictionary of unusual words and phrases for (almost) everyday use'
I could give you a few from Scotland, but im getting old now, its been a few years since I was at school (no really, only 2 really) but id try my best (providing that I havent got the wrong end of the stick)

Now I get it. But a new Super language wouldn't necessarily be the greatest idea. But still, cool.
