Describe your city half in French half in English - 07-03-2007, 09:11 AM

Hello !! (me Im french and new lol)
This topic http://www.japanforum.com/forum/gene...s-here-23.html and the discussion between my friend ColOrPriNceSs and Hisuwashi and AllICanSay and others gave me this idea:

one topic to write half in French half in English with correction to learn.
(thank you for your correction cause I would write english correctly)

We can talk about all subjects..

http://www1.pu.edu.tw/~bmon/Festival/Photos/12.jpg
with its medieval city and at this moment it is the morning and the hour is nine past eleven...

thank you for your nice reception on this forum

PS: we can completed with discussion on msn
(j'ai mis mon adresse dans mon profil)
(contact me if you want learn french or simply to talk)

That's Spanish, not Catalan. Oh no, wait. That's not even Spanish but Mexican, cause as you should know it is not the same.

Catalan is only spoken in Catalonia, which is in the north east corner of Spain. Some people say both languages are pretty much alike even though they sound completly different (thank God xD).

For example:

In Catalan that would be:

és interessant saber quina hora és per cadascú de nosaltres

I can understand it when written or spoken slowly, but that's about it.

You want pics of my town? It's Barcelona, you probably know what it's like. ^^

Yeah I know (a little bit) Barcelonia ! I have friends there! And I dont know if it's really true but my friends say that in france new relations are no really easy (cause french are "un poco" cold and distant but when I have met theses spanish friends, they have taken me immediatly in your arms and that was very nice and cordial

Put pictures of Barcelonia I will very happy

I'm musician and I remember one song
"duerme duerme negrito

Barcelonia? xDD Mixture of names.

I haven't met many French people so I can't tell whether they're friendly.

You want pics, you'll have pics.

That's one of the most important streets.

The most famous building, Sagrada Família.

Random sight.

The most famous avenue, always crowded with tourists.

Well, you get the general idea, now come visit me!
