I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of what to get a Dad?. Ive been stuck when it comes to getting my dad a present for Christmas and his birthday.

Does he have any hobbies, things he likes to do? You could just come right out and ask him if there is anything he really wants, or ask your mom. By the way Im a dad myself. You could do what my daughter does. If your out shopping somewhere, notice if he shows an interst in something. My daughter and I were at a bookstore last year killing some time before seeing a movie. I was checking out a book that I liked, but I didnt buy itl. Well she remembered it, and got that for me on my b-day.

Well he likes problem solving and things to do with math, word search. I do ask him what he would like to get but he always says "Oh anything is fine with me, just put a ribbon on the doggy and give it to me" lol. Well thats the thing my dad doesn't show any interest in anything when we go out looking around but he does like movies and tv, he recently became a fan of Ninja Warrior lol. He's actually building his own house so I was wondering if I should look up some books on it, the problem is he already bout books on it. He dosnt like showy things either and well my ma and him don't get along together lol. So maybe I'll buy him some of those books that have problem solving stuff in them but do you think those books are childish?. Hmm I don't know . . .

\if there's freedom to be had in that clear blue sky
I wouldn't care if these wings I'm so proud of were torn off
I began running, frantically aiming for the sky
I spread my wings and flew away, and the spot where I fell
was 'freedom'.
with a wonderful family, and wonderful friends
these were the best days of my life, if I'm reborn
let's meet again...

Sounds like the type that probably would like anything from you. You said he liked movies and tv. You could always go the movie route, or if there is a particular tv show he likes. And id definatly get one of the problem solving books as well. Im sure he would get a kick out of that. If hes building his own house your right he may have some books on that, but you can never have enough really. You could always bring it up to see if there are any books he may not have on a particular subject.

Honestly I am the worst shopper for other people besides my daughter, but I could give a 2 page list of things i want or need.
