"Taln" (pronounced talon) was a nickname I was given by someone I was collaborating on a novel with many years ago. We were in a usenet group and I gained a repututation for dealing with flamers. His explanation was "like a cat with velvet paws she strokes, but beware her shredding claws." It stuck - even in real life.

After being compared to a mother grizzley bear when I defend my friends and causes, and with a silver streak of hair present since my teens "SilverGrizzly" was added as a surname. Here as simply SG.

Since I have used this name everywhere except on government and employment documents for so long, some times it doesn't seem like just a nickname.

well... my friends and i used to do this whole running "LOONY LOONY PENGUIN!!!" joke (ok, you had to be there...), and i also really like penguins... and its part of a line from a haiku that i wrote:

I like random stuff.
Giant electric penguin.
Refrigerator.

i know the poem is bad (T___T), but thats the main inspiration for my username.
i just made the spelling more unique... and the reason theres a capital K? because i like visual Kei. ^___^

As you may have noticed... I'd referred to you as a male in some of my posts. I'm sorry, I wasn't aware.

anywho, on topic now:

My name comes from the song Ichirin No Hana by H&MC or something like that, me forgots it *_*. Means Lonely, or that's my guess. Bleh, just sounds right actually ^^
