Its hard not to cross these things... history again

Anyone here experienced with all things Japan might have already been getting tired of these things. As a wanderer for doujins, anime, manga etc.. after you have done enough you will come across things like this:

“RAPE OF NANKING” is “FAKE OF NANKING”

Of course its not the only one, but it is really ruining my rhythm on when I have my mind on other things and keep bumping into so many denial sites.

Holocaust denial is bad, but that doesn't mean the general public should always keep quiet and say nothing...... I wonder if Japanese know what kind of reputation they are setting for themselves.

Even after watching some hard to find anime, I don't know if I should be happy or not. But I also don't want to support a populace/culture that doesn't respect its victims, and on the other hand I don't want to hurt the feelings of the victims either. Tough choices here.....

Just because Japan didn't make Nanking Denial illegal like Germany made Holocaust denial illegal doesn't mean all Japanese people do this.
You need to not generalize.

It should be illegal anyways.:vsign:

It shouldn't be illegal, because that's interfearing with free speech, but it is true that not all Japanese people think this. There are most likely supporters of this idea in every country, but in limited numbers.
