I'm a Japanese student so I don know certain information but I think technology helps Japanese economy a lot.
Do you know Ko-do keizai seichou?
After world war the second, Japan lost the war so our ancestors tried hard to work and discovered many new, useful things which make this world more comfortable. and it successed importation with other countries.And my grandmother says that without many foreigners help, Japan wouldn7t become so rich and comfortable country.
The second reason, there is american help,why the Japanese government accepted American soldiors after world war the second is that Japan had't money any more. So at the time, it was really helpful that the American army stayed in Japan because the government didn't need to make military budget and it was possible to use that money to make this country rich.
And third, maybe it is the strongest reason that we like educations like now Indian and Chinese do a lot of studies ,
