Ok so, do you have a car and how dependant are you on it?

ps. this thread was made some time ago but since i've lost my car recently, i've found a new appreciation of it!

Sadly, I haven't got a driver's license. I find it's often much easier to take public transport to get to my destinations (going to uni via car would be a nightmare).

True enough. Its hard to find parking spaces in my city where they don't rip you off uber stylez >.<

I have a drivers license but since I live in Japan it's way more practical to use public transportation. Driving is only useful if you're going to places out in the country where there is no pratical public transportation.

After... 4 or 5 years, I'll be able to drive... I'm almost 14!!! XD! I'm thinking of a motorbike but a car seems good too.

I have 3 cars. One for work....One to take the kids to school.....and one as a family car.....

You really can't go anywhere without knowing when the busses arrive and they take 30 minute intervals, before you actually see the next one. That's too long. And we're not too found of walking with tons of grocery bags in our hands......been there.

I love my car. It's my baby. I'm constantly working on her and cleaning her and making sure shes happy.
I've been driving since I was 14 << Illegal yea, but vehicles and being behind a wheel ( especially if it's moving fast ) is just another passion of mine. I'm not really dependent because most of the places I need to go are in walkable distance. But I would fall to tears and agonizing screams if anything happened to her <<...

I know how you feel.. I got into a car accident 3 weeks ago and haven't seen my car since.. had her for 10 years.
