How does one find out if there's a faker? Besides the obvious mistakes of saying Kyushu and Hokkaido are right next to each other and stuff?

Hard to describe first you get a vibe.
Then you observe.
Then you catch them contradicting.
Then you approach them
Then they lack evidence/knowledge on how to prove you're wrong.

Well, its easy to tell if someone's Japanese or not, and it aint that hard for some of the members on here to tell if someone actually lives where they say they live.

Meh, I might come off as fake to some. I live in Hiroshima but my current location is California. I went to an international school so I'm fluent in Japanese but better with my english. I'm a weird one.

personally, I think i really annoying when someone gets banned or chased off JF because they're a "fake"...
everyone tells a lie sometimes, especially on the internet
and its not doing anyone harm to pretend you're japanese, is it?
