I lived in china for a while a few years back and got a part in a film by absolute chance. ... .but for modelling do you think i'd have to apply to agencies etc? .... oh and what is a 'runaway' model? i havent heard this phrase before.

Oh and to the rest who quesiton my original comment about gettin a job on how i look.... i'm not lookin for a career based on my appearance, i aint that over my head.. I may be studying in Japan so would want some form of part time work. And although i do have the confidence etc , i'm not to keen on the whole english teaching thing or workin in a typical restaurant.

Anythin other than this would be doable i suppose. Any one know about those butler cafe's?

As a student, this is a more realistic plan than being a model. Models needs agents, contracts, and most importantly, the proper visa. Student visas don't allow for most contract or salaried work.
