Well, if I said I was a member of the alphabet soup, and that the word homo offended me, what would you say then?

And if we're discussing reappropriation, then I point out as a white person I would not have any right to say the N-word, even though I do have black friends who use it amongst themselves. Unless you're outing yourself here, and inviting a debate between members of the LGBT community (much like the black community often has discussions about internal use of the N-word), then I'm not sure how you've established an argument.
