Ok, try downloading Media player classic and install CCC pack, that will read any video file you need.

it depends on which Windows media you have, but you would have to go to file, I believe, or settings and tell WMP what files you want it to play.

Or you can do what Yinnie suggested, or you can always download iTunes, which plays almost everything.

Normally windows media player would let you play files with AVI etc...
But now I got this problem x_x;;..
It doesn't want me to play AVI's...
Nor wav's...
and: .asf, .asx, .wax, .wm, .wma, .wmd, .wmp, .wmv, .wmx, .wpl, .wvx
....><
So I was wondering..
Could anyone help me with this?X_X;;;
I mean it still plays music and mp3 stuff, but it doesn't wanna play vids anymore -_-;;..
And thats quite bothering me now for the past few days XD.
And sorry if this is the wrong section to post ^^;;...
Usually when it doesn't want to play AVIs it's because you need to download a Codec. Search google for 'Windows Media Player AVI Codec' and see what turns up. That's what I did to mine anyway, and it works now.
