This is for those in the US: Im I the only one who finds "patriotic" country songs to be incredibly fake and capitalizing on 9/11 for the sake of record sales?

first off, country songs.all of them suck. horribly. all about the same thing. you lose you house your truck you girlfriend your dog. play a country song backwards, you get them all back...lol.

secondly, rap music.
they have good poetry...sometimes...but i prefer artists who sing, not talk.

thirdly, pop music. except for japanese pop, which i don't mind, it all sucks.
hardly any of them write thier own songs, or play instuments...some don't even sing....*cough*ashley simpson*cough*

fourthly, avril lavine. that poser-wannabe-whatever-makes-me-puke pisses me off.

other than that, im not to picky. except when it comes to bands like fallout boy, plain white t's, paramore,etc. you get the picture...all those *quote* emo bands *unquote*.

and lastly, "yellow" by coldplay. most pointless song ever...EVER.

Toby Keith's stupid stupid song about patriotism. I can't even think of what it's called right now but I hate it. Or any other one of his songs, but especially that one.
I was part of a half time show in a Dallas Cowboys game once, and we rehearsed it all day to his song and we heard it over and over and over again and we even had to push his stage on and off the feild and I hate his stupid hat!
I hate anyone who makes money off of an entire nation's patriotism during a time of tragedy. Support the troops my ass, Tody Keith is the devil.

1) It depends on the song.
2) There were patriotic country songs before 9/11.
