I love teachers who speak their minds.. but there's a difference between speaking your mind and then just saying something completely unnecessary.

I would have no objection to a teacher discussing the issue of gay marriage rationally. I encourage open discourse as often as possible. But the topic of incest is incredibly insensitive and inflammatory, and is not germain to the issue.

I am not familiar with Aldine specifically, but there are many schools in Texas where one can still get away with such things - the reason I said in "some" it would get him fired, not even in most I regret to say. And no, you speaking up about it to the administration would only cause you problems.

However, there is an active chapter of GLAAD in Houston and they can handle the heat if anyone ever needs to address such an issue.

Incest and homosexuality are totally different things.And actually gays don't choose to be gay.They are born gay.Do you really think that anyone would be stupid enough to choose to be discriminated and rejected by society?No one wants to be gay.They only are.And they are only people like us.But people still look at them like if they were a kind of aliens or anything like that.That is too stupid.

And males like female homosexualism because males are almost all totally brainless.

I saw a documentary about the school system in USA... It also covered the relationship between schools and the teachers where it explained how difficult it is for a school to fire a teacher due to their contracts which are enforced by the labor union. They even told about a teacher that was sexually harassing his students with emails with sexual content and the school could not fire him for more than 2 years due to the contract. If this is still true, then i do not think that "something he said" will get him fired.

P.S. Is it true that you can not choose which public school your child will attend in the US and that they pre-assign it to you based on your zip-code? o_O

Homosexuality AND incest were more widely accepted. King Tut married his half sister, and in a lot of old japanese art, you see paintings of some figureheads and "male youth" doing..erm...certain actions.

I don't think incest is right, personally, BECAUSE of birth defects, etc. But you can't control who you love in life, like homosexuals can't.
It's just who you are.
